Concert with Amira Medunjanin

Amira Medunjanin, born in Sarajevo, is an outstanding singer who has dedicated herself to traditional Bosnian music, especially the Sevdalinkas (Sevdah songs). She combines Sevdah with different music styles and is known as the 'Bosnian Billie Holiday'. The Klangwelt Toggenburg combines nature, music and art in a unique way and promotes the dialog between traditional and modern music from near and far. With Amira Medunjanin, we welcome for the first time an artist to the Klanghaus who lives this intercultural exchange with her unique voice and music.
