Whether it's a concert, a course or a hike - here you'll find an overview of the best ways to get to our various sound locations.

Travelling by public transport

We recommend travelling by public transport. Please take the Postbus from Wattwil, Nesslau or Buchs SG railway station to the Unterwasser, ‹Chäserrugg Bahn› or Wildhaus, ‹Lisighaus› stop.

Car parks

If you are travelling by car, please use the parking grounds of the mountain railways, either at the ‹Chäserrugg Bahn› valley station or in Wildhaus at the ‹Oberdorfbahn› valley station.

Continue with the mountain railways

From here you can take the mountain railway: from the Oberdorf or Iltios mountain station, a leisurely walk of around 25 minutes takes you directly to the Klanghaus and Peter Roth Resonance Centre.

Bergbahnen Wildhaus (for start in Wildhaus).

Note for your journey in winter

Please note that the roads may be snow-covered. Snow clearance is guaranteed, but you will still need winter equipment for your car (winter tyres, snow chains if necessary).

Experience the Klanghaus

Getting to the Klanghaus

To get to the Klanghaus, we recommend using public transport and travelling on with the mountain railways.

Timetables and tickets are available directly from the mountain railways.
Toggenburg Bergbahnen (start in Alt. St. Johann or Unterwasser)
Bergbahnen Wildhaus (start in Wildhaus)

If you are travelling by car, please use the parking grounds of the mountain railways, either at the 'Chäserrugg Bahn' valley station or in Wildhaus at the 'Oberdorfbahn' valley station.

Please note: There are no parking spaces available at the Klanghaus.

Shuttle bus for events and course participants

A shuttle runs to and from the Klanghaus before and after events and courses. Your event or course ticket entitles you to use the shuttle bus.

The café-bar at the 'Chäserrugg Bahn' valley station is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Experience the Peter Roth Resonance Centre

Getting to the Peter Roth Resonance Centre

To get to the Peter Roth Resonance Centre, we recommend that you use public transport and continue your journey with the mountain railways.

A leisurely walk of around 25 minutes leads from the Oberdorf or Iltios mountain station via the Klanghaus to the Peter Roth Resonance Centre.

Parking
There are a few paid parking spaces available at the Peter Roth Resonance Centre.

Alternatively, you can use the transport service from mybuxi.

The flexible mybuxi on-call bus makes it easy to travel from the valley to the Klanghaus or the Peter Roth Resonance Centre. The journey can be conveniently booked via the mybuxi app.
Stops: mybuxi takes you from fixed stops in the region directly to the desired destination.

Winter Trail

Enjoy a wonderful winter hike from the 'Oberdorfbahn' mountain station via Schwendi, past the Klanghaus and Peter Roth Resonance Centre, to the 'Chäserrugg Bahn' mountain station. The groomed winter hiking trail is ideal for the cold season and offers a cosy route with magnificent views.

Mountain railways

Tickets are available directly from the cable car valley stations. For group rates, please book tickets in advance directly with the mountain railways:
Toggenburg Bergbahnen (start in Alt. St. Johann or Unterwasser)
Bergbahnen Wildhaus (start in Wildhaus).

Dogs are allowed on the cable cars free of charge.

OSTWIND ticket inclusive

With your course or event ticket, you can travel to and from the course or event on the entire OSTWIND network free of charge. If you are travelling from outside the OSTWIND fare network, buy a public transport ticket to the first stop in the fare network. Check whether your chosen connection stops at this stop.

Sound Smithy

From the free car park behind the Raiffeisenbank and from the Postbus stop ‹Alt St. Johann, Dorf›, it is about a 7-minute walk to the Klangschmiede.

The Postbus line 790 runs daily every half hour from Buchs SG and from Nesslau to ‹Alt St. Johann, Dorf›.
